Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Agents (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our BCA Supply Chain Material and Standards Contracts team in Everett, Washington or Auburn, Washington. 

The Supply Chain Procurement Agents will provide contracting knowledge including, but not limited to, negotiating, and executing all aspects of BCA Supply Chain Contracts in support of production programs. Primary duties include managing internal and external relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, negotiating cost recoveries, engineering changes, and contract extensions among other priorities.

This individual will be the primary contact with suppliers and will maintain contracts and statement of work within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures.  Some travel may be required for this position (Around 10-20% domestic/international travel may be required). This role requires a keen attention to detail. The individual selected will be responsible for carefully measuring supplier performance while clearly communicating performance expectations and contractual commitments

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions.

  • Integrate program, customer, product, and in-service strategies into negotiation and contracting strategies.

  • Provide oversight and contract management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance.

  • Interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions.

  • Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities, inclusive of Value Engineering, and integrate results into contracting strategies.

  • Proactively communicate with the leadership team, peers, and customers. This may include the preparation and presentation of the business vision, supplier strategies, program/project status, etc.

  • Establish partnerships and relationships across various business units with internal and external customers, stakeholders, and peers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):  

  • 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management

  • 1+ years of experience working multiple tasks with differing levels of importance

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • 3+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans

  • 3+ years of experience developing proposals or contracts

  • 3+ years of experience working in Procurement and/or Contract Administration roles

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level 2): Typically, 3 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Mid-Level (Level 3): Typically, 6 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range Associate Level (Level 2): $67,606 - $82,629

Summary pay range Mid- Level (Level 3): $83,647 - $102,235
