Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Supply Chain Management Analyst (Associate or Experienced) to join Value Stream Integration Organization in North Charleston, South Carolina.

This is an opportunity to become fully immersed in the 787 Dreamliner Supply Chain function and develop a strong integration across multiple functions (i.e., Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain).

This role will involve a deep understanding of the integration of the supply chain, our internal 787 production system or both. This opportunity will develop the cross-functional understanding of the extended 787 value stream while delivering improvements to our operational teammates and supplier alike.

The growth of the 787 program makes this role an opportunity to be involved in exciting innovation through supply chain opportunities and partnerships, cross-functional problem solving, and an on-going Lean journey.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions

  • Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain

  • Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers

  • Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan

  • Coordinates part number attributes

  • Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system

  • Releases and maintains orders

  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies

  • Reports schedule adherence issues

  • Applies developed solutions to inventory plans

  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories

  • Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability

  • Ensures on-time delivery

  • Optimizes inventory levels

  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories

  • Creates schedules for products and services

  • Coordinates and supports process improvements

  • Develops and implements new ordering methodologies

  • Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, SC.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working in a position where priorities changed frequently and Customer Service was critical to the team’s success

  • 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Materials Management

  • 1+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management

  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of experience in the Aerospace or Manufacturing industry

  • 3+ years of experience with ERPLN, REDARS

  • Ability to travel up to 10% during the work time

Typical Education / Experience:

Associate (Level 2)

Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Experienced (Level 3)

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range for associate level: $62,050 - $83,950

Summary pay range for experienced: $76,500 - $103,500
