Position Summary:
Raytheon seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer with experience in O&M field engineering, experience in Jira Confluence administration and development, and is interested in working in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Analyze and Monitor system operation
-
Correct system malfunctions and maintain system health
-
Maintain certification and support shift hours on an as needed basis that could include nights, weekends, & holidays

Administer and maintain Atlassian JIRA and Confluence Data Center:
-
Create, maintain, and troubleshoot complex JIRA workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes

Create and manage custom, complex projects, workflows security schemes, custom fields, dashboards and report configurations

Manage user permissions for tools according to the needs of projects and teams

Perform application and system administration tasks

Analyze current functionality and access new plug-ins to determine potential areas for improvement
Required Security Clearance:
An active - in-scope U.S. TS/SCI security clearance with C.I. polygraph.
"Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date".
"U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance."

Basic Qualifications
Desire 2 years’ experience with two or more of the following: Electronic systems, Electro-mechanical systems, software applications and/or data processing systems
Working experience with Raytheon Intelligence and Space and in a customer environment
Experience with DevOps practices and Jira and Confluence tools and the administration of Jira and Confluence
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience. Military experience may substitute for some requirements. Military technical certification credit for military experience (*military personnel who have been formally trained or have relevant experience obtained while in service versus civilian training).

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
