Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior System Support Business Analyst (Level 4) to join the Supply Chain Logistics and Warehouse Management (WM) team in Kent, Washington; Renton, Washington; Everett, Washington or Charleston, South Carolina.

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated person with strong background in SAP (Systems Applications and Products) to join our team and support our supply chain logistics and WM processes. This team member will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing, and implementing SAP solutions, and providing ongoing support to ensure the smooth operation of our logistics and WM systems.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintains synchronization of the supply chain between international or domestic organizations, customers and suppliers by utilizing Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems to support global markets.

  • Analyzes material requirements to determine appropriate attributes to drive accurate demand through the supply chain.

  • Establishes order policies.

  • Creates orders to satisfy demand requirements supporting the supply chain.

  • Develops and controls inventory plans and integrates company, customer, and supplier capabilities to optimize inventory levels, turn rates and unit cost while ensuring accurate requirements and delivery schedules.

  • Schedules requirements by analyzing available resources and manages shop capacity to support on time delivery.

  • Applies knowledge of processes associated with regulating/distribution of goods through the entire manufacturing cycle to the delivery of finished products.

  • Introduces new SCM tools and techniques by working with complex processes and organizational relationships to improve the supply chain.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product)

  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging system software

  • 5+ years of experience with software development and/or troubleshooting software

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management

  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, or other database management applications

  • 5+ years of experience with Project Management

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

  • Strong knowledge of SAP logistics and Warehouse Management (WM) functionalities, including but not limited to WM, Materials Management (MM), and Inventory Management (IM)

  • Experience with SAP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and end-user training

  • Proficiency in SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) or SAP S/4HANA, with the ability to navigate and configure relevant modules

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • SAP certification in relevant modules

Typical Education/ Experience:

Typically, 10 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range - Washington:  $98,600 - $133,400

Summary pay range - South Carolina: $91,800 - $124,200
