Sales Manager Chile

Job Description

Plan the vehicle sales strategies according to the company goals. It includes sales  forecast, market brand positioning in order to assure the sustainability of the company and develop the marketing strategy that maximizes the opportunity provided by the product and the market trends. This position has the continuous challenge of developing and strengthening the relationship with the dealer network, its representatives and other key stakeholders of VSSM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explore new business opportunities for vehicle sales to increase market share y profitability.
  • Propose/recommend new vehicle orders strategies in order to avoid lack or excess of inventory.
  • Based on market analysis, set-up annual business plan.
  • Effectively forge a brand position developing a deep understanding and awareness of competitors products.
  • Develop the appropriate dealer network to guarantee the product and service availability in all the country.
  • Coordinate the activities to assure monthly WS, Retail and

    MS achievement .

  • Represent the company accordingly in internal / external meetings, new models presentation, press requirements.

  • Performance employee evaluations

  • Identify & develop Hi-potentials and address low performer

  • Analyze and implement Organizational Structure improvements in order to increase productivity and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of industry and market dynamics, competition, market financials, logistics processes, and other key industry players. (automotive preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred. At least 5 years of experience negotiating with external players. (distributors, dealers or suppliers).
  • At least 3 years experience in commercial & negotiation process.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work under pressure, self-motivated. Ability to build effective teams and achieve results through influence and persuasion. Excellent negotiation skills, ability to negotiate high volume contracts. Ability to travel.
  • Strong leadership skills, functional technical skills, business acumen, negotiation, conflict management, strategic agility, integrity & trust, problem solving, drive for results, planning, organization, political savvy, interpersonal skills, creativity, building effective teams.
