Job Description

The CV Sales department is looking for an Sales Account Manager.

This position is responsible to manage all the commercial activities and interfaces with the customers that will be responsible for  current account for John Deere, (new business pursuit, price maintenance, cash collection claims, cost recovery and past dues, design changes quotes, supporting corelated areas as: operations, engineering, quality and logistics, ), monitoring the company performance in every aspect of the relation, follow up the internal areas to achieve the best in class performance and improve customer satisfaction for JD.

Role

  • Analyze and prepare Engineering change quotations (CRs) to obtain the specified OI target.
  • Capture profit opportunities when applicable.
  • Validate BOM cost.
  • Validate CR associated costs.
  • Prepare preliminary quotation (ECRs).
  • Prepare board tooling and component tooling cost quotations.
  • Meet customer turnaround expectations for quoting engineering changes.
  • Lead the cross functional team to ensure costs are input to the CR in timely manner.
  • Ensure investment quoted on changes is accurate and that customer required detail is submitted on time so that tooling can be invoiced.
  • Support in the audit of tooling, equipment, and expense costs on engineering changes.
  • Lead the creation of AR's
  • Lead on account cash collection when needed.
  • Maintain an updated CR/ECM  and ECR tracker including Part List for the programs assigned.
  • Keep the harness volumes updated on GSD.
  • Request the cost for new components and keep cost source records.
  • Plan meetings with application engineering if issue to quote an engineering change need to be resolved.
  • Attend Engineering Change meetings if necessary.
  • Sign off and approve CR's on e-change (price analysis and Sales Disposition)
  • Support DRE on all engineering changes when needed.
  • Track Revenue enhancement.

Background

  • High level of English proficiency is a must (80% or higher).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Business or similar.
  • 5 + years of experience in Sales with automotive OEMs
  • Background with product engineering/assembly processes/Manufacturing engineering/ Process Engineering/etc is appreciated.
  • E-Change & ECM  knowledge.
  • Must have valid Visa and passport.
  • Work with multiple departments to develop the projects assigned.
  • Prior experience in Sales and/ or Engineering: Application engineering, Manufacturing engineering, Process Engineering, etc.
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft office
