Quality Lab Leader (Level 6)

Job Description

What you will do?

- The group leader of laboratory is responsible for the daily analysis of sediments, coolants and metallurgical conditions of gears, pulleys and prismatics of the CVT plant; and detect, report, and document conforming/non conforming conditions in these elements.

- Within its responsibilities is the continuous audit of the sediment – related processes and, the  following of actions to their reduction.

- It is required a high level of technical expertise in several laboratory areas to understand requirements and solve problems related to manufacturing and product (warranties).

- Collaborate with outside teams to analyzing and solving manufacturing problems.

-  Work involves a considerable amount of initiative in decision-making accompanied by a high level of independent discernment.

 

 

Additional Job Description

•    Knowledge:

Manufacturing Processes

Knowledge of Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS), quality control procedures.

•    Experience/Education:

Bachelor Degree Engineering (Metallurgical, Materials, Mechanics, Electronics, Industrial or equivalent)

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint)

Fluent English

High level of oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to work with others.

High degree of resilance to frustration

Employee development including mentoring, training and evaluation of hourly employees

Available to travel inside and outside the country
