Project Quality Engineer main responsibilities:
●Complying with applicable safety and environmental regulations.
●Know and meet the specific requirements of the client that impact the activities of the area.
●Promote and reinforce the policy of zero defects
●Follow-up and monitoring of the Quality System, for the project to achieve quality (customer and site).
●Monitoring of customer milestones + Timing level 2
●Escalating to the quality manager, project manager the project activities that are not met and that jeopardize the achievement of the client's milestones or the quality of the product.
●Verify compliance with the 4M matrix in terms of product and process changes to ensure customer requirements and approval of changes.
●Monitor the SPPC tracking sheet and the Group's Standard Control Plan to ensure the critical characteristics of the product and process are controlled from the start of the project until delivery to serial production.
●Transfer specific customer requirements to the supplier
●Verify the application of LLCs in the new project.
●Generation of process documentation at a quality level to control products and production processes (Make inspection records, product audits, validation checklist, inspection records, etc).
●Development of control plans at the prototype, pre-launch and production level.
●Confirmation of the new measurement and test equipment implemented in the line
●Application and follow-up the activities for solving problems with the project and ensure the rules
●Apply Problem Solving methodology if any problem is found during the project that put the quality of the product at risk with the customer.
●Prepare and follow the deliverables of the PPAP with the multidisciplinary team for validation and obtaining the PSW signed with the client.
●Prepare and monitor the PPAP deliverables with the PPAP multidisciplinary team for validation and obtaining the Internal ISR for the subassemblies or plastic parts related to your project.
●Schedule and follow up on RPA as customer complaints in pre-launch and production stages (+3 Months or launch without customer complaints).
●Validation of ISR/PSW with client for parts of OEs
●Ensure that the GP12/Super control meets all customer interfaces and their specific requirements.
●Carrying out audits of control plans before the SOP, maintaining gap analysis in case of shared platforms.
●Follow-up of non-conformities from internal and external audits, to ensure compliant processes that ensure compliance with customer requirements.
●Monitoring of non-quality costs.
●Ensure the follow-up of the FDPRs and RU ready
●Follow-up of the current deviations of its lines, carrying out a genba check and ensuring that what is indicated in the deviations is complied with.
●Ensure use, monitoring and validation of poka yokes and existence of master parts for product compliance.
●Ensure the follow up and closure of the VIMs helping to the involved team.
● In charge of validating every station using the Lean manufacturing methodology or any other linked to productivity/continuous improvement
