Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is seeking a Principal Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI Clearance in Aurora, CO. Relocation assistance available provided candidate meets eligibility requirements.

In this role, you will be joining a team of talented software engineers who are designing, developing, and maintaining next-generation satellite ground station software. Our challenging domain offers the opportunity to apply new technologies to build high availability, large-scale software systems.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $15K for a person with a TS/SCI clearance that can be verified and hired here at Raytheon Intelligence & Space.
Required Skills

Experience in object-oriented software development using Java

Education/Experience Requirements

8 years of relevant experience and a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) Bachelor’s degree are typically needed for this role. A Master’s degree in a STEM field may be substituted for 2 years of work experience. Non-degreed professionals with demonstrated skills and relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

“In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $89,000 to $189,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.”
