Manager Finance (GL Controller & Reporting)

Job Description

- Perform General Ledger functions; assure accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

- Identify, interpret and analyze potential accounting risks and issues

- Research and analyze accounting transactions and contracts

- Partner with Finance to determine accounting implications of transactions and perform analytical analyses to utilize when making all material business decisions

- Assist with internal and external financial reporting - including analyzing consolidated results and management review reports, ensuring quality, and administering strict timeline

- Evaluate current accounting practices and policies and drive continuous improvement

Liaise with the external auditors for completion of Statutory audits (IGAAP Audit)

Supervising the audit and resolving audit issues. Entrusted to manage audit independently and handle confidential data

Supporting the tax teams with the relevant data for tax audits and assessments

Perform month end/Quarter end and year end accounting and reporting activities complying with IFRS/Ind AS and US GAAP

Manage and oversee the day to day accounting and coordination with shared service (GBS) and accounting outsourced partner (Conduent).

Additional Job Description

Knowledge:

  • High Level of Accounting Knowledge and Experience, IFRS/ IND AS must & USGAAP preferred
  • Highly proficient computer skills and technology driven (excel and access)
  • SAP Knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of Internal Controls, GST, Income tax

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork and partnerships
  • Ability to prioritize assignments/projects and multi-task within restricted time constraints

  • Ability to network and collaborate cross-functionally

Experience/Education:

  • Professional designation  (CA )  with 5-6 years experience in IND AS accounts finalization and  GL controlling

Competencies:

The work involves a high level of technical accounting & coordinating skills, independent judgment, integrity.
