Join us as: LOGISTICS COST IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST EMEA

Your role:

  • Coordinate achieving freight performance for the division according to approved Freight Costs Budget; emit the consolidated files monthly to defined stakeholders

  • Drive robust process and tool for monthly Logistics costs and provision file by sites and prepare the monthly Logistics A3 chart creation, identifying gaps and actions

  • Control logistics (inbound/allied/outbound/premium) activities and costs in EDS EMEA

  • Maintain and enhance logistics reports and tools to ensure appropriate freight cost controlling for EDS EMEA plants.

  • Monitor and drive improvements through logistics key performance indicator.

  • Collaborate and liaise with corporate logistics teams to identify and implement strategic projects to reduce logistics costs, focusing on price reduction opportunities as well as network optimization opportunities.

  • Coordinate the monitoring the usage of logistics OS related tools/reports in line with guidelines and support/ implement Logistic IT tools enhancement discussions with PC System Team

  • Support improvement of process flows and training documents for the Freight Team in terms of forecasting and tracking freight costs.

  • Play significant role in digitalization of PC&L processes related to freight via direct cooperation with freight SME, software development team and thorough testing of all new developed tools and systems.
     

Your Background:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering or Logistics

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain in MFG company and/or large 3rd party logistics provider

  • Understanding of customs regulations and international trade regulations

  • Advanced Level of English both verbal and written

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

  • Working knowledge of cargo management software preferred

  • Strong Analytical Skills

  • Excellent communication and time management skills
