We are actively in pursuit of an accomplished Lead System Integration & Delivery Engineer, poised to play a pivotal role in advancing our Charging realm.

 

This individual will be instrumental in interfacing between system design, validation and various charging feature stakeholders, developing integrated solutions and delivery plan for one of our vehicle architectures.

 

Your mission? To be the guardian of quality for charging related system artefacts and lead the test issue resolution for a robust closure.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

As a Lead System Integration & Delivery Engineer, you’ll be,

 

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of charging features/core system, including, co-ordination of system & subsystem design & development activities, rig, lab-car, vehicle validation activities, test issue analysis, issue resolution & closure
  • Working with system design squads, in-house digital / software and network teams and other stakeholders, i.e. Central system integration, create an integrated delivery plan for charging features that meets programme ctqs and supports feature maturity at various product milestones
  • Playing a key role in coordinating all ecus teams that make up the charging system
  • Working with system designs engineers & test engineers, you’ll ensure the system artefacts are completed with the correct level of quality
  • Supporting various prototype rig builds, by ensuring the sourcing of correct prototype parts and software versions with correct maturity level
  • Engaging with stakeholders & squads in weekly agile reviews on progress and impediment management 
  • Driving the charging features / core system issue resolution using the standard 8d process
  • Leading charging features & system design change management processes to ensure that all changes are implemented robustly

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

As a Lead System Integration & Delivery Engineer – Charging, you will sit within the Electric Power Control Chapter and deployed into Charging Product Group. You can expect to have a balance of technical and delivery responsibilities in this role.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 

Essential – 

 

  • Knowledge of feature delivery processes and relevant toolsets
  • Delivery of engineering projects preferably within the Automotive industry
  • Capability of cross-functional coordination and management
  • Working & delivery experience on Charging and / or HV Systems
  • Knowledge and working experience with system engineering principles
  • Knowledge of features statement of intent, logical and physical design of systems, requirements writing and management, developing test cases, engineering issue resolution (AIMS, SIMS), working experience of testing requirements at rig / vehicle level
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional and senior stakeholders
