What does the Product team do?

We are a technology team through and through.We build the software for our customer-facing portals, cloud reliability platform, and automation/orchestration platform. In addition we manage the architecture and deployment of third party systems such as Salesforce, Zuora, Malbek, and several others.

What You'll Be Doing:

We are looking for a consultative Cloud Project & Program manager to drive RapidScale's large-scale technology & business transformation initiatives. You'll never get bored here, and there is no shortage of new and interesting projects or people to meet. You'll be responsible for gathering business, technical, and operational objectives from your counterparts and work backwards to build and maintain a successful engagement. Your ultimate goal will be to drive satisfaction through high-level and tactical communication, teamwork, and timely delivery.

Your Day Will Consist of:

  • Project & Program Management of RapidScale's product initiatives in a very fast paced environment
  • Project managing a variety of engagements such as ServiceNow integration, Salesforce key project updates, back end Portal Platform initiatives
  • Managing multiple stakeholders and project initiatives simultaneously
  • Working alongside architects and engineers to deliver ideal outcomes
  • Reporting on project status including risk, assumption, dependency, issue, change, account and escalation management
  • Playing an active part in the project management community at RapidScale including our team sync-ups, adding your own experience to the ever-evolving project management methodology
  • Internal resource planning and customer meetings with thorough documentation and rigorous follow-up
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes



What we look for in a Project Manager

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in a related discipline with 6 years of experience in a related field; Or MS/MA degree in a related discipline with 4 years of experience in a related field; Or 10 years of experience in a related field in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager, or Management Consultant coming out of a technology/digital/business transformation environment (in-house or external)
  • Someone with a strong commercial focus in all areas of delivery, relationship management, and the identification of opportunities and risks.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure: you are most comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, spinning multiple plates at any one time.
  • A keen self-awareness: you understand your strengths and weaknesses and have a continued focus on personal development and progressive enhancement of your skills and base of professional knowledge.
  • Experience leading cross functional teams delivering technical solutions and consulting
  • Knowledge of public cloud, Enterprise IT, SDLC, and/or Web Based Infrastructure
  • Desire and ability to pick up new technical knowledge quickly
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow through skills
  • Positive, energetic attitude, and initiative; Strong work ethic



Kudos for:

  • Any certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Project Management, and/or Information Security
  • Prior experience delivering projects for a company in the APN or Microsoft Partner Network



USD 106,700.00 - 177,900.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $106,700.00 - $177,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
