Here's is an opportunity to be at the forefront of JLR's electrified future as a Subject Matter Expert for Inverter and EDU Calibration.  The opportunity supports the Rotating Machines Calibration Team team within the Propulsion Software, Calibration and Controls department where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering robust EDU calibrations and control systems that drive our business forward.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Develop tools and methodologies to facilitate calibration and validation of the EDU control system across various stages, including desktop, test bench, HIL, PIL, Lab car, and vehicle levels.

  • Establish and maintain capable, robust, and well-documented methods for all attributes and systems, contributing to a robust and optimized design.

  • Contribute to the development of efficient, standardized, and automated calibration processes.

  • Ensure that JLR has the necessary software and hardware tools to support EDU calibration and control system needs.

  • Collaborate on hardware readiness to meet future calibration capacity and performance requirements.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • In-depth knowledge of Powertrain calibration and controls, preferably at a detailed level with experience in calibrating complex systems, with a preference for experience in vehicle and/or Powertrain systems.

  • Delivery of Engineering and or analytical projects preferably within the automotive industry

  • Familiarity with calibration tools such as ETAS and INCA.

  • Proficiency in Matlab, Simulink, Simulink Projects, and Excel is desirable.
