WHAT TO EXPECT

 

This role collaborates closely with software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to establish clear testing objectives, design comprehensive test plans, and execute various testing procedures, such as functional, performance, and regression testing. Their goal is to detect and rectify bugs, glitches, or inconsistencies in the software, contributing to the delivery of a reliable and user-friendly product.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

The Software Release Engineer role sits within the Charging Software Validation Chapter which validates the charging system software to ensure we deliver our charging systems on time and to quality. The main duties of this role are to ensure that the in-house developed automotive software is compliant with company-specific and industry standards with respect to quality.

 

  • Define the quality & ensure compliance with software quality requirements
  • Responsible of the quality planning through the entire product lifecycle
  • Maintain and follow quality goals in software development
  • Ensure that quality targets are captured as part of the agile planning process
  • Participate and handle ASPICE development and alignment cross-functionally
  • Ensure that the testing processes are effective and adhered to and are fit for purpose

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Experience in project management
  • Expertise in automotive SPICE environment
  • Expertise in IATF environment
  • Experience in automotive software development
