USA EE-DUX Lead Engineer

Key Responsibilities

As the EE-DUX Team member in the North American market, be responsible for engineering development and test activities in the NAM to ensure on time delivery and compliance with local market requirements, regulations, and customer expectation.

Collaborate with LTIC PO’s and FO’s to create, maintain and review regulatory, technical and customer expectation requirements for NAM market.
Supports and co-work with the EE-DUX development teams
Organise, lead and report on local market product benchmarking activities, and analyse NAM market & technology trends.
Collaborate with the LTIC Validation team to build an effective and efficient validation team and plan for NAM.
Support the definition of validation scope and activities, review validation results and drive issue resolution internally and with external partners and suppliers.
Participate in test/assessment drives or other development activities as needed.
Coordinate with the LTIC validation team and ensures definition and execution of required global validation activities for EE
Ensures that appropriate test environment is available (e.g. test vehicles)
Manages external validation partners.
Status reports to management, leadership, and other relevant stakeholders.
Supports completion of homologation and certification tasks
Document, update and review lessons learned.
Contribute to SC process optimization, development, and documentation.

Candidate Background / Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Extensive Experience working with Infotainment and EE automotive systems
Experience working in an international setting and collaborating with colleagues in different time zones – Europe and China
Very good project management skills
Strong technical understanding of infotainment and connectivity functions
Experiences in tools related to testing such as for data logging, data analysis, requirements management, test planning, test completion and issue resolution management
Open minded, solution driven, highly motivated engineer
Hands on mentality
Excellent communicator with an open and structured mindset
High integrity and trust in all activities and communication
Driver LicenseBachelor’s Degree in Engineering
