In our EDS, Electrical Distribution System Business Unit, we engineer and manufacture a full range of power and signal distribution systems, including the high-speed data and high-power electrical systems needed to build feature-rich, highly automated, electric vehicles.

Position Summary

As the Human Resources Manager for APTIV, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR strategies to support the organization's objectives, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure the well-being and professional development of our employees. You will collaborate closely with department heads and senior management to drive HR initiatives aligned with business goals.

Your Role

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, resolving conflicts, and addressing employee concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention, such as employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and wellness initiatives.

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various roles within the organization, including engineers, technicians, production staff, and administrative personnel.
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviewing, selection, and onboarding.

Compliance, HR Administration, and Payroll Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards, including those related to health and safety, equal employment opportunity, and labor relations.
  • Manage HR administration processes, including payroll, benefits administration, employee records management, and HRIS maintenance.
  • Oversee payroll processing activities, including accurate and timely payroll calculations, tax withholdings, deductions, and payments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Your Background

  • Previous experience in automotive industry.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position or as HRBP.
  • English 80%
  • Implementation of the Orientation + Basic Training program for new personnel.
  • Delivery of skills development plan trainings for direct and indirect personnel.
  • Coordination and support of Education programs
  • Support and follow up of Internal and Legal, Environmental and Safety systems.
  • Support in the logistics of training events.
  • Knowledge of Federal Labor Law, ISR Law and IMSS Law.
  • Creation and updating of KPI´s
