Commercial Finance Manager Vehicle – North America

The Manager of Forecast position entails managing a team of employees to take preventative measures, and create estimations regarding the potential future of the company’s finances based on research and data findings.

General Responsibilities
• Evaluates industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position
• Utilize historical data and work with all levels of the business to understand needs to accurately forecast future financial position
• Develops, updates, and manages financial forecasting models and regularly and effectively communicates changes, recommendations and issues to senior management as necessary
• Develops and maintains various monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and ad hoc reports for management review and use, and assists with various reconciliations as needed
• Maintains detailed records of forecast outputs and inputs, processes, quantitative or qualitative models, meetings, approvals, or other items, as needed, for compliance or governance
• Recruits, trains, develops, coaches, and manages team to ensure priorities and deliverables are met

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
• Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

  • Power BI experience is desirable.
  • B2B (vehicle industry and/or industrial manufacturing) experience would be a plus.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Experience working with ERP and Reporting tools such as Oracle.
  • Previous management experience is required.
  • Cross-cultural and global management experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven success supporting business unit leadership utilizing strong analytical forecasting skills.
  • Support efforts around quarterly Board of Directors Meetings and Company's Earnings Release providing market and revenue performance analytics is expected.
