Sensata Technologies is looking for a demand planning manager who will be responsible for creating and implementing a master production plan for future predictability that can be used companywide within necessary departments. This position will manage a team of Demand Planning Specialists and oversee performance metrics, project implementation and development of processes.
General Responsibilities
• Manage a team of demand planning specialists to oversee supply chain, product planning and all other daily operations
• Supervise time to meet with / partnerships with necessary external vendors and internal departments such as supply chain, marketing, customer service, engineering etc.
• Supervise inventory targets to efficiently use necessary products and to work with purchasing to determine necessary items
• Manage demand forecast accuracy goal
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
• Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
- +4 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, or demand forecasting.
- Power BI experience is desirable.
- B2B (vehicle industry and/or industrial manufacturing) experience would be a plus.
- Strong business acumen.
- Experience working with ERP and Reporting tools such as Oracle.
- Previous management experience is required.
- Cross-cultural and global management experience is highly desirable.
- Proven success supporting business unit leadership utilizing strong analytical forecasting skills.
- Support efforts around quarterly Board of Directors Meetings and Company's Earnings Release providing market and revenue performance analytics is expected.
