Marketing Operations - let’s introduce ourselves
The Campaign Manager is part of an experienced team of 7 people based in the UK but with a functional reporting line into the Global Marketing function.

The Marketing Operations team is responsible for planning and deploying marketing activity for Volvo Cars product and services to support the businesses corporate commercial and brand targets.

The team is leading and managing the marketing & campaign plan ensuring alignment to the global marketing strategy across new cars, used cars and aftersales via the key marketing disciplines of Advertising, Sponsorship, CRM, Advocacy, Partnerships & Events and Retailer Marketing

Campaign Manager – this is what you’ll do
The role of the Campaign Manager is to successfully manage and deliver first class advertising campaigns and activity for the Volvo Cars brand and products in the UK Market. Along with our central paid media and content engine teams and local agencies, you will be responsible for planning and executing the UK’s advertising campaigns and content delivering seamless, full funnel communications across the relevant channels to drive consumer awareness, consideration, and action.

All activity will be planned according to and aligned with the overall global and local marketing plan to deliver upon set targets and KPIs for the UK sales company.

The role will take specific responsibility for the ownership of advertising campaigns and specifically the UK Always On, full funnel digital activity working closely together with central planning and production resources to drive upper funnel metrics, website traffic, Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and orders.

Key deliverables:
• Planning and management of campaigns across offline and online channels with specific focus on Digital Always on activity - PPC, Paid Search and Display
• Planning and management of Volvo Car UK owned social channels. Liaising with the UK CRC team, PR and Marketing for community management
• Aligning activity to drive a full funnel digital approach through close connection to Central Planning, eCommerce teams and the UK Commercial Team
• Working in collaboration with the central Content Engine to preview, adapt, and approve all digital content (copy and visuals) for the Always on plan and relevant campaigns
• Reviewing and approving media plans
• Performance reporting and analysis against market KPIs
• Innovative thinking to drive appeal to new segments and consumers
• Budget management and PO processes

We’re looking for you!
We are looking for someone with a digital first mindset, a good knowledge of digital media and a Track record in delivering strong ROI across paid digital media channels. In addition, the ideal candidate will also have experience of planning and implementing offline media campaigns and experience in creative and content management.

Given the nature of the role and the need to work across multiple stakeholder groups both locally and centrally, the ideal candidate will have a strong collaborative approach and strong communication skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders at different levels. Linked to this, it would also be beneficial for the candidate to have experience of working across global-local organisations.

The role requires someone who is an excellent planner with ability to think both short and medium term to develop a balanced approach to supporting the delivery of both the longer-term brand metrics and the shorter-term volume objectives.

Lastly, the ideal candidate with have strong analytical, reporting and presentation skills in order to clearly demonstrate and articulate the performance of the activity being delivered and to proactively drive improvements and innovation and drive fresh thinking.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with either a relevant degree within media, marketing, advertising or communications or a higher level marketing qualification such as CIM, Digital marketing Diploma or other relevant marketing related qualification.
