Tasks
What you will do:
- Perform Brake objective test oriented to both Brake Performance characterizations according to the Group specifications and Brake Certification test programs.
- Support the Instrumentation Team in on-board equipment/designing experiments, preparing the configuration for the test data gathering.
- Execute subjective evaluation.
- Collect, process, analyze and present data from objective & subjective test.
Qualifications
- You have successfully completed a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a Brake Test Engineer, with deep knowledge of Brake physics/phenomena and general familiarity with chassis dynamics.
- Preferred experience Brake Certification test programs and Brake Performance characterizations (AMS, Judder, Fading).
- You have familiarity with data analysis and typical equipment (VBOX, ADMA, OXTS and DAQs like Dewesoft, Softing, etc.), being able to set up instrumentation, designing and conducting experiments.
- You speak English very well, and German language is strong recommended.
- You have a strong attitude for team play and international working environments.
