Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Product Support Maintenance Engineer for our Ridley Park, PA location to apply engineering technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques to support product support engineering and analysis of moderate complexity to ensure supportability, sustainability, reliability, maintainability and operability of products and services throughout its lifecycle.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports product definition, design and configuration.

  • Participates in defining, evaluating and maintaining engineering supportability, maintainability, and operability requirements for products, systems and programs.

  • Assists with analyzing data to produce support, flight operation and maintenance equipment requirements.

  • Supports the evaluation of engineering changes based on customer requirements, supports program changes and implementation.

  • Prepares plans, researches, develops, analyzes, and designs, modification and repair solutions that comply with customer, regulatory, Safety and company requirements.

  • Supports continued airworthiness.

  • Applies planning and design criteria to develop integrated support and maintenance infrastructure.

  • Provides engineering and on-site technical assistance to customer’s products, including ground support equipment, training devices, training facilities, operations facilities and maintenance facilities.

  • Supports proposal development.

  • The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality.

  • The candidate will need to be a team player who works well with subject matter experts and others toward a common goal.

  • The candidate will need strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse individuals at all levels to address engineering and technical requests and develop and implement solutions.

  • Acquires and integrates engineering drawings and data for the Electronic Wiring Suite (EWS), focusing on advanced aircraft wiring maintenance.

  • Manages projects affecting electrical diagrams and parts data for aircraft configurations and modifications.

  • Provides customer support by resolving Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDR) and other technical queries.

  • Develops solutions for wire highlighting, sheet references, and challenges within the Intelligent Wiring Application.

  • Addresses software and data processing issues with innovative approaches.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher in engineering, computer science (Computer and Information Science), mathematics, physics or chemistry

  • 1+ years of experience experience reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and specifications

  • 1+ years of experience with database content management and database querying languages

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with scripting languages (example such as Perl or Python)

  • 1+years of experience with SQL and Oracle database maintenance

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

Summary pay range: $78,200 - 105,800
