Introduction to the role 
Join our dynamic team at Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE, as the Analyst & Reporting Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role within the sales team, transforming data into actionable insights. The Analyst & Reporting Specialist will deliver comprehensive reports that empower strategic initiatives, and your analytical expertise will assist the sales team to drive informed decision-making to reach set goals and targets. 

Job Responsebilities 

  • Analyze and create structured reports on business opportunities in PME markets, focusing on new vehicle sales, options, and pre-owned business. Support optimization efforts and furnish sales data for all PME departments.
  • Implement standardized and automated dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) for summarizing and visualizing key business KPIs. Facilitate efficient identification and assessment of market performance, growth, and business opportunities. Collaborate with data integration roles, data providers in other PME departments, and PME / Porsche AG IT for the maintenance and enhancement of local operational reporting systems and databases.
  • Regular review of the existing data and reporting landscape in sales with regard to demand, need, effectiveness and efficiency. Continuous improvement in the direction of a self-service model to increase the team members’ ability to access and analyze data on their own. Support vendor model evaluation and integration.
  • Identification of necessary analysis and reporting tools and systems including implementation, training and internal support. Act as the subject matter expert towards all departments on reporting and query questions and assist with data gathering, extracts, and report development, including implementation, training and internal support .
  • Implement automized processes for all regular sales planning activities by exploiting and identifying smart/intelligent tools and methods (e.g. AI) to improve/enhance the sales planning rounds by integrating all data and reports from PME and the markets. Integration of all regular planning activities with other sales department processes to enhance and develop the efficiency of the planning processes.   

Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other related field of study.
  • >5 years experience in a relevant/similar role.
  • Excellent IT (SAP, PVMS, Deltamaster, MS Excel and PowerPoint), analytical, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of AI and its applications.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and planning abilities.
  • Ability to present business stories using advanced visualization tools and PowerPoint.
  • Profound knowledge in MS Office .
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English. German or Arabic are an advantage.
