Analyst 1 Credit

We’re currently looking for an Analyst 1 Credit to join our team in Mississauga ON (Hybrid) or at Vancouver BC (Remote)
 

This role will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing new and rehashed applications within a 30 minute turnaround time. Providing the dealers with effective customer service via telephone or email.

Job functions Include but are not limited to:

  • Reviews, analyzes and makes decisions on all credit applications received.  Speaks with dealers when more information is required or when the application will be declined or conditioned.  Performs all investigation needed on credit applications (i.e. pulls bureaus, verifies fraud alerts, contacts banks and other credit institutions) in order to make an informed decision.

  • Using a call center telephone system answers all incoming dealer calls and makes outbound calls to the dealers when required.  

Minimum Requirements:

  • College or University degree preferred but not required (preferred in Business or Finance)

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in retail or consumer credit (auto lending experience is an asset)

  • Ability to communicate with dealers, co-workers, managers and staff from other departments in a clear, professional, collaborative manner regarding their own and other Credit Analysts’ deals.

  • Must be bilingual for both English and French

  • This position requires multitasking, prioritizing and properly analyzing every credit application.

  • Willingness to work a flexible work schedule (As early as 8:30 am and as late as 9:00 p.m. PST) Some Saturdays will be included. It will be 7.5 hours a day, 5 days a week

  • Proficiency with MS applications
