Senior Software Engineer in Vision Based Domain With our deep domain expertise, Aptiv is developing solutions that solve our customers' toughest challenges. This role sits within Aptiv’s new product organization, which will be at the forefront of transforming the auto industry with cutting-edge technology.   Position Summary 

The Aptiv Connection Systems Team is looking for a Advanced Electronics Engineer to join the North America Product Engineering Team with the position located in Krakow, Poland.  The successful candidate will be a part of the Consumer Connectivity product portfolio. The Advanced Electronics Engineer will be responsible for capturing/developing hardware and software requirements for connectivity modules such as USB-PD, USB hub, HDMI, Qi wireless charging and NFC, as well as verifying the engineering implementation conforms to the established requirements.

Help shape the future of mobility. As an Engineering Project Leader you drive the end-to-end flawless execution of the costumer projects. You will play a pivotal role in bringing technical depth to our Advanced Safety products, delivering on Aptiv’s product strategy, adopting a strategic approach to break down barriers, and developing a deep understanding of customer’s challenges. You’ll build a network with customers and internal technical leads to develop strategic plans and product requirements to deliver value to customers across our Advanced Safety Software products.

At APTIV, we design, develop, and validate systems to improve safety and comfort in vehicles. This includes the development of innovative computer vision features and machine learning algorithms for interior and exterior cameras. Examples of features are vehicle and pedestrian detection, lane detection, traffic sign and traffic light recognition, driver drowsiness sensing, seat occupancy monitoring, child presence detection, and hand gesture recognition.
