Job Description:

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria. 

VIE Main Requirements:

- European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.

- Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.

The contract duration of VIE is 24 months.

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Model Based System Engineer for Safety (f/m) to join our Design Office based in Airbus Group India Private Limited, in Bangalor.

Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) is a systems engineering methodology that focuses on creating and exploiting domain models as the primary means of information exchange between engineers, rather than on document-based information exchange

Safety & Reliability are key contributors to the final customer satisfaction and important drivers of design and architecture systems choices.

Your challenges:

In close relationship with Airbus India designer team, safety & architects and designers from Airbus mother companies in Europe, the job holder will have to perform :

  • Aircraft and Systems models with MBSE tools and methodology (CAMEO, Dassault 3DX)

  • Check design characteristics to reach safety performance

  • Support the systems installation inside the aircraft to reduce risks of cascading failure, fire or risks in case of collision with birds.

  • Propose recommendations for design and architectures of new development to secure future programs success

  • Strongly contribute to the continuous improvement of the tools and methods.

This activity will allow the job holder to develop strong skills in MBSE, Safety and all systems installed on the aircraft (such as hydraulic, avionics, power plant, auto pilot…). In addition, this activity will request to work in close collaboration with various actors of the design office as Chief Engineer team, Safety Analysts, MBSE teams, Architects & Designers, HC installation representatives.
