Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Talent Management Manager to join our HR department based in Herndon, VA or Washington, DC.

As a member of the Talent organization Team, this position will support various areas of the Talent organization, with a specific focus on activities in the Talent Management domain, eg. Succession Planning, People Reviews, Resource Reviews, Competence Management and support of our Accelerated Developer (high potential) population. The Talent Management Manager will also be responsible for delivering high quality, efficient and effective support throughout the talent team.

Your challenges:

  •  Data collection and management of data as the focal point for the HRBP population and HR digital teams in preparation of detailed analysis for activities including  9box, (performance/potential matrix), Resource Reviews, People Reviews and follow up and succession plans.
  • Creation of presentations, planning, facilitating and support of Talent focused meetings.
  • Familiarize with all Talent Management Processes to enable deputization of the Director of Talent Management if required
  • Maintain and coordinate the distribution of the competence management dashboard
  • Support Competence Assessment and competence & development reviews / audits
  • Managing data analytics related to Learning, Development and Talent Management activities.
  • Developing, managing and reporting the results of surveys.
  • Interfacing with HRBPs on Talent activities.
  • Organizing and supporting physical venues, catering as well as virtual classrooms logistics
  • Assisting with communications by producing graphic design deliverables in the form of: Google Slide presentations, infographics, and marketing materials.
  • Administration of the VIE (Volunteer for International Experience) program

Your boarding pass:

  • 3+ years’ experience in HR
  • 2  plus years of experience managing projects
  • Experience in translating large amounts of data into meaningful outputs.
  • An ability to problem solve and to respond well to changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Curiosity to understand the multiple dimensions of organizational challenges and opportunities
  • Ability to think independently with a high degree of self-motivation
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously

This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America.
