What does System Integration & Test do (SI&T)?

The System Integration & Test supports the development of new products. We analyze the requirements and design the systems for the lab and field test environments to provide state of the art solutions for integration and test of the new capabilities.

Job Summary:

IPTL for System Integration & Test is supporting the program/projects and leading multidisciplinary team through all stages of the program, including requirements review, system and supporting documentation development, system integration, test and sell-off to the customer.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Provide technical leadership in advanced radar systems development engineering.
  • Work closely with engineering functional and technical management to ensure on time deliveries.
  • Lead team to perform hardware, and software integration and system verification efforts necessary for the efficient sell-off of advances radar systems.
  • This role will be the primary technical point of contact for the engineering issues related to the cost and schedule performance on a development effort.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to ensure that issues are addressed immediately and corrective actions are implemented expeditiously.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of team leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of the Radar systems and relevant experience with Radar system integration, test, verification, and validation.
  • Experience with Earn Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. 
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PM Level 6 or higher.
  • Strong organization, coordination, planning and teaming skills.
  • Experience executing and integration and test procedures on radar systems.
  • Solid understanding of test automation, and troubleshooting.
  • Performs system testing, test reporting, updating of test procedures and generation of sell-off reports and earned value reporting. Knowledgeable in systems engineering and IV&V engineering principles.
  • Ability to lead the team in a high paced, high demand laboratory factory shift environment.
  • The candidate will need to understand the verification of system as well as software requirements.
  • Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance and/or a SSBI/Special Access clearance.

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Location Information

The salary range for this role is 123,000 USD - 259,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
