Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties include, but not limited to the following:
· Process suppliers’ invoices, employee expense reports, and other payable generating transactions in multi-currency environment in accordance with Company policies and procedures
· Ensure all transactions are properly coded and approved prior to payment
· Payment of supplier invoices and employee expense reports in a timely manner
· Maintain vendor invoice database and payment log book
· Work closely with vendors and internal functions, such as Purchasing and Business Units and other relevant functions in the company to ensure that open issues and disputes are resolved in a timely manner
· Work closely with Purchasing and Business Units for payment projections
· Manage liquidity requirements
· Supplier statement of accounts reconciliations
· Bank reconciliations
· Participate in projects related to process and efficiency improvements
· Perform ad-hoc assignments as required
Preferred Qualifications:
· At least 2 or more relevant years of experience in Accounts Payable/Treasury function
· At least a Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
· An understanding of accounting practices, financial analysis tools and knowledge of automated accounting software
· Proficient in Microsoft Office - specifically Excel (Intermediate/Advanced level)
· An effective communicator across all levels of stakeholders
· Independent, organized and a fast learner who is able to work within tight timelines
