Position Overview:
As our Software Engineer Intern, you will support developing and maintaining applications to help the Aviation industry move undisrupted. You will be responsible for the messaging data in transit to ensure the on-time arrival for you, your friends and families, and all passengers flying around the globe. The applications support over 1,500 aviation customers, transmitting over 75 million messages daily across the Aviation community. We are seeking a highly motivated student with an ambitious and diverse technical background to support and contribute to this awesome mission.

Primary Responsibilities

Support designing and developing software applications and platforms for the Aviation community.

Participate in code reviews and develop automated test cases.

Work closely with our team of Software Engineers to ensure that our software meets the requirements of our customers.

Maintain documentation of software design and development
Basic Qualifications:
-
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Student focused on Computer Science or a degree in a related field.

Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, and Scripting

Familiarity with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, or Jenkins

Familiarity with agile development methodologies

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
