Raytheon is seeking a software developer to perform will provide full-lifecycle application development; designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages software development. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a quick learner, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a complex environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform software development designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages;
Perform moderately complex analysis, design and development of new solutions, maintain existing software baselines;
Support customers using the developed tool sets.
Required Skills:
Must have active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph;
Ability to design and develop new solutions and maintain existing software baselines.
Skills include experience in modern web development, writing JavaScript, C, Linux/Unix scripting, Make, Python;
Ability to work self-directed as well as work in teams.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Experience with one or more of the following operating systems: Redhat, CentOS, Ubunto, UNIX, LINUX, SunOS, MS Windows, VMWare ESX, Solaris 8-10.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
