FRS VAK SOCSOUTH Position
Raytheon Technologies is seeking to hire a cleared Part-time employee to work as a VAK Field Service Representative in support of a DoD contract providing technical equipment advisory and support for SOCSOUTH.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Mentor and advise senior military personnel on various equipment, technical capabilities and employment Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs)
- Assist in the development and implementation of Concepts of Operations (CONOPs)
- Provide sustainment training as needed on specialized technical equipment Coordination with RBT headquarters for specialized program support
*Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance
Preferred Skills:
- Retired or former Special Operations soldier 5 years of United States military experience in a similar capacity
- Recent combat experience
- Experience with or technical information collection equipment to support War on Terrorism goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills,
- Excellent motivational skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate with administration, customers, and employees
Required experience:
- Experience with web-based applications including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and various viewing software programs such as: FalconView, Google Earth, C2PC, Streets and Trips, and Map Point
- Ability to travel independently and operate for periods of time without supervision
- Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements to support Unit
- Must be able to transport a 35 pound load with no assistance
- Must have an active and current Top Secret security clearance
Part-Time / 90 days on and 90 day off Rotational Position
SOCSOUTH: Based out of Sota Cano, Honduras when on rotation
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Practical to significant knowledge of RTX projects, programs, or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
