Senior Buyer (GMSA Region)

Responsibilities

  • Acting in direct material purchasing of Engine, Transmission and Thermal parts, focusing on cost analysis

  • Meet the purchase requirements, receiving and analyzing internal specifications, seeking to identify potential suppliers to the process

  • Initiate and conclude negotiation considering the best price conditions, quality delivery time, through analysis of quotations and negotiations with suppliers

  • Support new projects, connecting directly with engineering; deployment of the requirements with suppliers; conclude negotiation leveraging best deal

  • Create supply agreements, through contracts, in order to generate savings in the negotiation of materials, equipment and services performed by the area

  • Availability of travel, infrequent, inside the region

  • Responding to internal customers for the quality of contracted products and services, interacting with stakeholders to meet established contracts

Additional Job Description

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree with focus in Engineering, Administration, Foreign Trade Economics, or related.

  • 3 years of experience in similar positions. Purchasing experience is necessary.

  • Advanced English.

  • Advanced Office Package.

  • Knowledge of SAP.

  • Availability to work in Sao Caetano Do Sul, Sao Paulo, Bra in a hybrid regime (3 times per week on site).

  • This position requires availability to sporadically make local trips within Brazil.
