The MHP Americas' Project Manager Data & Technology will support various IT projects that support the client's data-driven strategies. This role will need to comprehend end-to-end IT solutions along the entire value chain of our clients. The candidate must have proven project management experience in an agile environment. In addition, the Data and Technology Project Manager will be required to ensure our services are of the highest quality for our existing client base. You should be able to cultivate relationships with new customers, develop new business opportunities, and continuously adjust our current and future offerings according to market demands.

 

Your responsibilities as a Data and Technology Project Manager would be: 

  • Lead Data & Technology related projects and develop business for new and existing clients
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and goals
  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Communicate with leadership team members to keep the project aligned with their goals
  • Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Assist in recruiting and retaining top talents for the project and delegating tasks to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Motivate colleagues and peers involved in the project to complete tasks on time
  • Become a trusted advisor to our customers to actively shape the future of automotive and manufacturing
  • Maintain profitability and financial health for the business field
  • Ensure the development of the most relevant and innovative skills and capabilities within the team
  • Develop and advance MHP's reputation within the North American marketplace
  • Create and maintain relationships with customers, thought leaders, and industry experts

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in the consulting industry with a (partial) focus on project management of Data & Technology related projects
  • 3+ years of experience in the Automotive and/or Manufacturing sector preferred
  • Strong domain expertise in advising CIOs and other executives with digital transformation, business intelligence/analytics programs or other technology initiatives
  • Ability to craft innovative, strategic solutions to complex problems within the Data and Technology domain
  • Proven ability to grow and manage a sustainable sales pipeline for a consulting practice in close collaboration with the business development team
  • Engagement management experience, including overall program management, project planning, financials, change management, and risk management
  • Strong problem-solving skills as well as an eagerness to develop and mentor the team
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to successfully interact with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Professional appearance with strong customer focus and analytical and structured working attitude to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., SCRUM) and understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework
  • Willingness to be based in Atlanta, GA, and travel 70-80% 
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent education
  • US Citizen/Green Card/EAD required
