Program Manager

We engineer and manufacture a full range of power and signal distribution systems, including the high-speed data and high-power electrical systems needed to build feature-rich, highly automated, electric vehicles.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Program Manager. This position will work side by side with a cross functional team and is responsible for leading with a relentless attitude working with rigor and pace to execute and drive the execution of the Project in terms but not limited to Industrialization, Manpower Hiring & Training, Program Ramp-up as well as work with the team to fulfill the customer build event deliverables and their communication status internal/external.

Your Role

  • Work side by side with cross functional team driving flawless Program Launch and Execution.
  • Assess project status and plant readiness for program launch, based on project plan, risk assessment and project appropriation request (AR)
    • Project financials
    • Design & validation deliverables
    • PC:  Advance Procurement Comp PO & Logistics, Warehouse  Readiness ( ensure a program plan for every part is defined and executed by responsible parties)
    • ME: T&E Industrialization, methods, validation/Ram up follow up (Tools equipment delivered on time, validated, tested, and capable to deliver the  required output), business transfers/moves
    • AQP: Poke Yokes and Line release (review evidence of compliance to requirements (Customer /Aptiv)
    • HR: Hourly & Salary Hiring Plan (ensure people plan is defined and executed on time)
  • Controlling and monitor the project through gate reviews and functional gates assessment  (conduct readiness assessment for specific customer milestone requirements)
  • Coordinate Customer Visits to assigned plants (customer capacity verification, etc)
  • Ensure proper escalation of off plan conditions and identified risks (categorize issue severity, proactive, with sufficient time for resolution)
  • Coordinate Handoffs ( F4-F5 , RBE 10- to Mfg. Plant)
  • Maintain/Retain program records as required by Job and Aptiv Policy

Your Background

  • Program / Launch Management experience.
  • High level of English proficiency is a must (90% or higher).
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 + years of experience in wire harness assembly processes.
  • Experience managing difficult and challenging situations during the execution, knowledge required on managing team to resolve issues.
  • Engineering, quality, manufacturing.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines for internal execution and customer reporting.
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
