Job Summary:

Are you ready to go beyond? F135/F119/Commercial Complex Test Cell Sustainment group is looking for an eager and motivated intern to join our team and support the fast-paced technical team in supporting both hardware and software equipment directly used in testing and maintaining F135/F119/and commercial engines. This part-time role will focus on technical and business processes to drive equipment, software configuration, troubleshooting tasks, and obsolescence efforts for the future of the test cell site's success and equipment health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support test cell sites in sustainment status with field service responses via Merlin system.
  • Drive blueprint updates and changes and support software development and qualification with vendor.
  • Analyze tooling across multiple programs for spare usage and inventory of global spares pool.
  • Support Gov’t Property related requests (Audits, Cycle Counting, Audits and Verifying locations of assets).
  • Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization as well as procedural improvements and creation.
  • Work commercial & military issues, redesign, and development for next gen products.
  • Support obsolescence studies for complex equipment and details.
  • Other tasks as necessary to support our internal and external customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software engineering, or other related field.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
  • You will have at least 30+ credits prior to starting your internship.
  • You have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical, creative thinking and project management skills.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of gov't contracts and documents, SAP, PowerPoint, and Excel are preferred, but not required.
  • General engine component and system knowledge preferred, but not required.
