Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work with the operations team to assure that all tooling requirements, customer requirements, safety and environmental requirements are met.
  • Manage the Smart Torque tooling process onsite including;
  • Program, setup, and test tools and controllers
  • Activate controllers/tools on the PW system
  • Order/Track/Status required build tooling
  • Perform various types of tooling related tasks including but not limited to point use creation, Remstar management, toolbox creation/updating.
  • Assist with the management of the Snap-On ATC toolbox system
  • Investigate problems to determine reasons why tooling does not perform as expected
  • Leverage appropriate support teams to make in process repairs as required
  • Enter and complete tooling work orders using SAP
  • Perform pertinent data collection initiatives to proactively reduce tool related downtime in the assembly areas.
  • Maintain shop cleanliness standards (6S) and perform Daily Walk-Arounds (PMs)
  • Participate in shop-specific safety training programs and ensure your compliance with OSHA job safety requirements.
  • Actively participate in Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) as our fundamental operating philosophy and culture.

Basic Qualifications:

  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • US Citizenship required due to government contract
  • Mechanical and design aptitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years technical on the job experience
  • Experience with SAP as it relates to tooling
  • Engine Assembly Knowledge
  • Blueprint reading proficiency
