About the Role

As an ATA MET Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Mechanical and Body Repairs: Perform all necessary mechanical and bodywork on assigned vehicles.
  • Vehicle Dismantling: Carefully dismantle vehicles to prepare them for panel work.
  • Inspections and Diagnostics: Carry out thorough inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic tasks.
  • Parts Management: Order and manage replacement parts to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
  • Vehicle Reassembly: Skillfully reassemble vehicles with new parts, restoring them to pre-accident condition.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

  • Experience: Proven experience as an MET Technician, ideally from an accident repair background.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring precision and safety under pressure.
  • Effective Planning: Strong organizational skills to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Specifications Adherence: The ability to work according to manufacturers' specifications and standards.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset, along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability and a commitment to maintaining high standards in all tasks.
  • Health and Safety: Strict adherence to Health and Safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and maintaining a clean workspace.
