About the Role
As an ATA MET Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Mechanical and Body Repairs: Perform all necessary mechanical and bodywork on assigned vehicles.
- Vehicle Dismantling: Carefully dismantle vehicles to prepare them for panel work.
- Inspections and Diagnostics: Carry out thorough inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic tasks.
- Parts Management: Order and manage replacement parts to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
- Vehicle Reassembly: Skillfully reassemble vehicles with new parts, restoring them to pre-accident condition.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- Experience: Proven experience as an MET Technician, ideally from an accident repair background.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring precision and safety under pressure.
- Effective Planning: Strong organizational skills to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
- Specifications Adherence: The ability to work according to manufacturers' specifications and standards.
- Team Player: A collaborative mindset, along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility: Adaptability and a commitment to maintaining high standards in all tasks.
- Health and Safety: Strict adherence to Health and Safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and maintaining a clean workspace.
