Job Summary:
The candidate will be responsible for equipment reliability, project management, effective communication, and reviewing tasks. The role requires working with support group members to achieve departmental success. Excellent organization, prioritization, and interpersonal skills are important.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform equipment reliability tasks, continuous improvement efforts, and project management with effective communication between support groups. Maintain and track equipment reliability including trends, failure analysis, and opportunities for improvement. Maintain equipment criticality ranking and analyze inventory for improvements.
- Create preventive maintenance tasks in coordination with OEM vendors and seek out opportunities for optimization. Develop procedures and provide guidance on completing tasks efficiently and effectively. Assist in the implementation maintenance reliability strategies utilizing the CORE operating system tools. Communicate to peers, requirements at supporting process to ensure smooth process flow.
- Configure CMMS data and update new entries Review completed work in CMMS for accuracy and coordinate follow up work, as necessary. Pursue a World-class safety culture and ensuring EH&S requirements are promptly addressed.
- Maintain software backups and ensure compliance with regulations. Assist the supervisor in corrective maintenance activities ensuring compliance with approved procedures, directives, processes, and policies. Assist technicians in best practices while maintaining a key working relationship.
- Provide support and direction as needed with an emphasis on team building through participation in daily toolbox meetings, effective communication, and in developing an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and changes. Achieve target performance levels through disciplined execution of the Standard Production System (SPS) including but not limited to: Tiered accountability, Visual management system(s), Leader Standard Work and Root Cause & Corrective Action. Drive development of a strong problem-solving culture, through application of tools
- Champion sustained improvements in safety, quality, equipment reliability, material procurement, and cost reduction through the system’s various elements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, STEM discipline or equivalent experience and 5 years of maintenance reliability experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Continuous Improvement principles (lean manufacturing, ACE/CORE, etc.).
- Ability to plan projects and to craft clear written/verbal/analytical/org skills to influence business objectives.
- Computer proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office.
