Position Role Type:

Conducts inspections of products (parts, assemblies, raw materials, tooling, instruments, etc.) to validate compliance to design data requirements which include drawings, specifications, and contract requirements at predetermined steps in the manufacturing process using basic inspection methods and tools.
Role Overview
Inspect manufactured products, materials and parts, processes, and/or test data for conformity to blueprints, specifications and standards. Inform appropriate parties of abnormal situations. When applicable, validate production machines and process setups using first production pieces, setup pieces, shift samples, etc. according to checklists, blueprints, routings and standards. Perform above on an experienced level basis with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Production Inspection and Functional Testing, Audits, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System Transactions, Support Development of inspection methods & procedures. Support multiple commodities and/or production lines.
· Disposition product non-conformance's as approved.
· Use proper inspection methods & equipment.
· Identify improvements to methods and procedures.
· Answer quality requirement & inspection questions.
· Assist Quality Engineering in corrective action follow-up
· Assist Engineering in development of inspection methods and procedures
· Process Monitor Program, Special process inspections, Customer Source Inspection, Delegated Customer Source Inspection
· Support company goals, Teamwork, Leadership & Training, and Continuous Improvement.
· Take proactive approach to tasks related to quality activities, initiatives & company goals
· Other support groups, Customer contact, Customer satisfaction
Basic Qualifications:
• HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Preferred Qualification:
· 2 years of inspection or manufacturing environment preferred
· Very detail oriented preferred
