The Industrial Engineer Co-op will work on-site with all functions of the manufacturing team to improve productivity and process maturity. The role will offer opportunities to lead cost saving initiatives throughout the site and to have a true impact on the financial success of the team. Activities can include kaizen events, time studies, digital solutions, and layout and flow optimization. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May/June- December; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past December 2024.

Primary Responsibilities:

Learns about planning the sequence of operations, procedures, and documents manufacturing standard work and routings.

Assist in planning the allocation of resources, materials and personnel to establish maximum utilization and efficiency.

Assist and participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce costs.

Help in conducting studies to improve our time standards which will promote productivity improvement and cost reduction.

May assist facilities engineers in layout and cell design projects.

Opportunity to use training and education to find opportunities to drive improvements throughout factory.

Performs data acquisition and analysis to support various production metrics
Basic Qualifications:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
