HRIS Specialist

The HRIS Analyst is a member of the Sensata Global HRIS team and will have responsibility for supporting and advancing Sensata’s usage of the core Human Capital Management system (Workday). The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the system data integrity and improving the efficiency of the current system. This role will also support Workday training and special projects as assigned. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast paced, highly matrixed, global organization.

General Responsibilities
• Collaborates with HR team to identify and solve systems’ usability issues in the HCM module
• Pro-actively research and keep current on new Workday HCM features
• Maintain system overall infrastructure
• Provide support to the Compensation Subject Matter Experts (support annual compensation review and global job profile updates etc.)
• Provide and analyze ad hoc reporting and HR analytics for the organization
• Provide executive compensation support and track various awards on a global basis
• Lead Analyst for employee data integration for mergers and acquisitions. Must have strong understanding of overall company structure and HCM interdependencies
• Expert on large scale organizational changes. Leverages the EIB tool
• Conduct system audits for data integrity and research data discrepancies
• Participate in internal and external audits as needed
• Support and streamline the new hire data entry process in Workday
• Prepares and maintains Workday documentation
• Deliver in-person or virtual training sessions for HR, Managers and Employees
• Participate in system testing around new system functionality, issue resolution, upgrades, and HR system implementations, tracking areas of concern or failure
• Identify areas for process or system improvements

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
