Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop,)
Adept with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
Creative and visual design skills to produce creative and technical art
Strong professional and Interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbal and in writing
Strong visual communications skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and data through images
Comfortable working with technical staff and Technical Publications Team to develop technical art and diagrams, supporting white papers, proposals, visual presentations, etc.
Comfortable with design management – updating/modifying existing assets and evolving designs as needed. As new assets are created, they are compatible with existing designs.
Familiar with composition and integration using stock and/or organizational assets
Comfortable using a graphic control system and file-naming conventions for configuration control
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Required Skills:
Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or
systems in order to provide enhancements within job area. Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years
prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a
minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Desired Skills:
Advanced knowledge of and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suites
Experience using JIRA
Experience using Confluence
Technical writing experience
