Raytheon Technologies Intelligence & Space (RI&S) has immediate opening for a Software Factory IPT Lead. The qualified candidate will have a keen interest in DevOps philosophies and an extensive background in implementing systems utilizing DevOps practices. The position is hands-on; therefore, the successful candidate will have strong implementation, system diagnostic and leadership skills. Flexibility to work a hybrid work schedule of remote and on-site availability in the Sterling, VA area.
Job Duties:
The Software Factory IPT Lead will manage a cross functional Integrated Product Team in the development and deployment of a Software Factor
Support RMF IATT/ATO accreditation activities at the Unclass, Secret, and Top Security security classifications.
Interface with the customer regularly in regards to SW factory or infrastructure related topics.
Oversee SW BOM. Working with SCM to procure software products.
Required Skills:
10+ years related experience.
Demonstrated Experience in a technical leadership role,
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Experience in a DevSecOps environment supporting development and deployments
Experience Managing a DevCloud development environment
Experience on programs with requirements that are satisfied with through Infrastructure automation.
Experience standing up COTS applications (VMWare, RHEL/Windows Server/RKE2) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
Experience with IaC environments (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
Familiar with principles and tools of CI/CD (Jenkins).
Experience with code repository CM tools (Git, Bitbucket).
Excellent written, verbal, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently as well as lead a team.
Ability to communicate technical concepts both up and down the management chain.
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Experience in both Windows and Linux RHEL /Unix environments.
Strong in scripting languages (Bash, Perl, etc.).
Experience with Virtualization/VMWare.
Experienced with container-based architecture, orchestration, and deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Object Oriented language experience (Python, Ruby).
Estimation or proposal experience.
Education Requirements:
Typically requires a BS / BA degree in Science, Technology Engineering or Math (STEM) or related with emphasis in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology and 10 years of relevant experience.

Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years
prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree
in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited
by local laws/regulations.
