Job Description

Raytheon is seeking a Field Service Professional to work at our Springfield location. The successful applicant will have a background in the construction and logistics industry. The applicant will work with other experienced personnel in a cross-functional team environment to create and take innovative solutions from conceptualization through prototype development. Responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery, shipping, receiving, packing, QA/QC, training, testing, procedure development, and fabrication of structures and prototyping hardware. The applicant will have a strong desire to learn and collaborate with team members to refine procedures and designs. The applicant will ensure the execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes, such as property management, electronic data systems administration, warehouse operations and related functions.  Occasional travel to relatively local CONUS required.

Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/SCI

Required Skills

Candidate must possess an active Top-Secret security clearance

Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in the military, construction, or skilled trades industry

Minimum of four (4) years of relevant logistics experience, such as shipping, receiving, packing, QA/QC, and documentation

Ability to perform QA/QC on a variety of tools/equipment

Hands-on experience such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical assembly

Ability to read and understand conceptual drawings or blueprints

Ability to lift up to 94 lbs.

Ability to work in restricted mobility areas and confined spaces

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Compliance with Raytheon’s Silica Monitoring Program

Willingness to apply for Raytheon’s Non-Commercial & DOT Driving Programs

Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare written training documentation

Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Desired Skills

Medium and/or heavy equipment operator

Military or special operations experience

Journeyman license or equivalent certification in the electrical trade

Preventative Maintenance experience

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs

or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior

relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
