Job Description:
Raytheon Technologies Enterprise Real Estate Services (ERS) has an opening for a Facilities Manager responsible for 3M square feet of manufacturing and office space located in Tucson, AZ.
This role will provide oversight and direction to aid facilities leadership regarding new business initiatives and promote the business interests of the Facilities organization. To coordinate with customers on these business interests and provide an appropriate business response within Facilities. It includes providing general oversight to the various types of organized responses by either in-house or contracted personnel, whether by providing service and upkeep to the plant at specific buildings, or for other tactical engagement, and then assure its successful implementation.
This position also communicates with stakeholders as the Facilities department representative and gives guidance to customers on a course of action which is consistent with department objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Represent Facilities and make decisions which commit resources and impact the business response of Facilities.
- Communicate business decisions of Facilities and be able to articulate them with clarity and understanding.
- Define and articulate the detail scope of work and the over-arching requirements of a Facilities action to contractors and maintenance staff.
- Manage and assess the facility infrastructure to assure its continued functionality.
- Selectively monitor critical facilities actions to completion.
- Act as an advisor to subordinates or staff to articulate common goals and layout a tactical plan to solve problems.
- Manage Facilities expense budget, specific to preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Oversight and management of targeted maintenance contracts and selective outside services, such as landscape maintenance and other miscellaneous supplemental services.
- Analyze financial information and communicate impact to team and customer.
- Understand and maintain compliance with Safety training, laws, codes, and regulations.
- Assess risk and develop mitigation plans while keeping progress moving forward.
- Support monthly and quarterly progress reports to ERS leadership and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) staff
- Oversee internal facility design requests to ensure that design efforts are properly planned, resourced, and executed in line with documented project delivery and design development procedures.
- Support quarterly estimate-at-complete (EAC) process and monthly latest revised estimate (LRE) by ensuring forecasts are completed on time with a high degree of accuracy.

Required Skills, and Experience
- Effective fact base decision making
- Experience in facility management, facility engineering or construction management.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in facility management and customer service activities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Able to articulate both financial and technical information.
- Good communication at all levels of business, verbal and written.
- Strong understanding of commercial Infrastructure to include BAS, Electrical Distribution, Mechanical and Fire Life Safety Systems
- Proven success negotiating between customer and facilities in a fair and effective manner with creative solutions.
- Strong Computer skills including MS Office Suite
- Excellent teaming skills and leadership ability
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP / CMMS operation
- Power Logic power monitoring and operation
- Strong understanding of Building Automation and controls, Siemens and JCI
- Project management and scheduling
Education and Experience :
- This position typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Facilities, Business Administration or Engineering or related discipline and 10 years of related experience in supervising or leading building repair and maintenance for building infrastructure or an advanced degree and 7 or more years’ relevant experience. In the absence of a degree a combination of education, applicable experience and/or certifications in lieu of degree may be considered

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
