Our department, Interior Room, operates within the business unit “Vehicle Tophat”. This department consists of seven groups covering Interior areas within mechanical, mechatronic, electronic and software perspectives. The group has the ownership of a large number of mainly interior switches, for instance multimedia switch and steering wheel switches. Other areas are the steering wheel module and wireless phone charger.

We are looking for an inspirational Engineering Manager for Switches and Wireless Phone Charger, who wants to bring out the best in our people and at the same time taking clear operational and product ownership for the scope of this group. What you’ll do?

  • As an Engineering Manager, you hold operational and product responsibility for the group. Additionally, you are financially accountable for your operations in accordance with the delegation of authorities.
  • You stay updated within relevant technology and business domain i.e. switch technology, to be able to coach and guide your group.
  • You ensure cross-functional collaboration with relevant teams and stakeholders. The group's technology responsibilities involve numerous interfaces, including functional, software, electronic hardware, and mechanical perspectives.
  • You develop empowered and productive teams, ensuring that functional and behavioral competencies align with future technology strategies.
  • You provide direction, delegate tasks and responsibilities to group members, and support, guide, and coach them in their daily work.
  • You hire and develop highly skilled team members, fostering a psychologically and physically safe environment for your highly engaged group.

What you`ll bring?
You have leadership experiences, as a line manager or project leader and have been working with product development in an Electronic and/or Software environment. You have a leadership style where taking ownership and clarity are one of your top priorities.You enjoy working with continuous improvements where you interact with different stakeholders and environments.

Being people oriented individual you are leading with collaborative approach, open mind-set and clear and transparent communication.
