Position Summary

Aptiv is looking for the next Process Specialist Engineer, to Provide manufacturing systems for the production processes of DCS Mexico plants.

Your Role

  • Release of new processes and/or tools.
  • Execution of PLC - HMI - VISION programs for workstations.
  • Start-up and implementation of manufacturing systems that comply with established guidelines in BOP, DFM, MSD, safety, and ergonomics (equipment or tool).
  • Adherence to established PPAP deadlines.
  • Design operation methods - adjustment aimed at maintenance personnel.
  • Provision and promotion of a safe working environment.
  • Support and continuous improvement to production processes, including improvement projects.
  • Development of manufacturing systems for new products that meet quality and capacity requirements.

Your Background

  • At least 5 years of experience as Control Engineer or Control Technician
  • Major in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineer, or related.
  • PROGRAMMING KNOWLEDGE OF PLC

• RSLOGIX 5000

  • HMI PROGRAMMING KNOWLEDGE

• PROFACE HMI

• Allen Bradley HMI Factory Talk

  • VISION SYSTEMS PROGRAMMING KNOWLEDGE

• Keyence

• Cognex (Easy Builder and Spreadsheet)

  • ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL DRAWINGS
  • Programming Knowledge (Staubli Robots)
  • English Intermediate - Advanced
