Key Responsibilities:

Oversees production operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management), maintenance, plant engineering, scheduling and personnel. Manages and supervises the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function.
Oversees and ensures all quality related items for a complex or medium sized sites are complete and documented to meet established quality standards. 
Oversees cost reduction and process improvement for a complex or medium sized site to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness. 
Directs the business unit’s company resources effectively to meet customer and shareholder expectations
Accountable for the culture of the business unit and business unit performance
Provide vision and leadership to deliver value to the customer and shareholder
Lead the business and align with value stream and functional leaders / management
Assign and achieve business unit performance targets
Institute continuous improvement culture and eliminate overburden
Leads Tier-3 management meeting and Walk About Review process
Prepare/submit executive performance reports
Develop people leaders and succession plan
Provide / grant incentives based on performance and achieving improvement targets
 
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
10+ years of relevant experience (Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial Machinery, or Electronics)
Preferably leading a large team (50 or more supervisors & managers reporting to the individual) from manufacturing and/or supply chain and/or engineering functions
Trained and experienced in implementation of Lean/Six sigma initiatives.
Conversant with statistical, continuous improvement, and problem-solving tools and techniques
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (AS 9100)
Strong operational KPIs and basic financial KPIs
Ability to lead and manage people
Ability to apply tools for practical problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives
Apply logical and scientific thinking principles to solve wide range of 
    intellectual, organizational, and practical problems

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
