About this position
An account manager is responsible for new business growth as well as growth and value creation for existing customers. Responsible for contributing to commercial aspects in identifying, quoting, and winning new business, while increasing the size of the opportunity space with customer portfolio. S/he will contribute to the critical sales elements – including but not limited to customer strategy, price management, stakeholder relationship management internally and externally and sales cycle.

Your role:
We are looking for a motivated and professional Sales / Account Manager (f/m/d) for our Active Safety & User Experience (AS&UX) Business Unit in our modern and beautiful office in Stuttgart. This position is a temporary position with a duration of 18 months (befristet)!
Your Tasks:
Sales responsibility for our customer Mercedes-Benz in the product area "Advanced Safety & User Experience"
Maximize market share and probability with every strategic automotive customer in the region assigned.
Secure new business for new products and new applications in line with DCS strategy.
Manage and allocate the human resources in his assigned territory dedicated to the customer segment in order to reach the above objectives.
Establish and propose the SAP and budget for the sales activities in the dedicated market segment in the region compatible with the overall objectives defined by the Sales & Marketing Manager – India.

- Maximize market share and profitability with sales manager under the leadership of Global Account Director.
- Secure new business for new products and new applications in line with CS (Connection Systems) segment strategy and profitability targets.
- Manage all the projects and programs associated with JOEMs and Their 1s in order to reach the above objectives
- Build SAP (Strategic Action Plan) and Budget data files, including monitoring of JOEM car production figures.
